The Rosebud Rambler rolls over hill and dale as well as dips in and out of the Rosebud River valley a few times, connected by quiet gravel roads with plenty of beautiful views.

Parking, porta potties, and a shelter with tables is located at 1 Ave/Railway Ave. Bring all the food and water you need as there are no services in Rosebud.

Gravel condition on roads in this area can often be soft and sometimes deep though still lovely to ride and have almost no traffic..

Our recommendation would be to ride the route in a counter-clockwise direction though it is fine in either direction.

Starting and finishing at the historic Last Chance Saloon/Rosedale Hotel in Wayne, AB this route descends in the popular 10X Highway - aka "Eleven Bridges" towards the Red Deer River Valley, then climbs out of the valley before dropping you down into the Rosebud River Valley where you'll face a stiff climb out, eventually plunging down a coulee back to Wayne.

Be sure to enjoy a cold one and some lunch at the Last Chance Saloon, check their hours before heading out. There are no public washrooms in Wayne besides the saloon. There is also a cool disc golf course in Wayne for a full day of adventuring.

Welcome to the Alberta’s version of The Netherlands - wind, canals, and flat terrain. Starting and finishing in Chestermere, utilizing the right-of-ways on the canals SE of Chestermere and some quiet gravel roads, this multi-surface ride loops you back to Ralph Klein Park and the paved canal back to Chestermere.

Be sure to take a few minutes to pop into Ralph Klein Park and check out the engineered wetlands. Public washrooms here when main building is open.

If you liked the canal riding on the Dutch Treat route, this is similar but almost twice as long. Canals and quiet farm roads with a bonus viewpoint overlooking the Bow River at around the halfway mark. Don’t underestimate the wind on this ride.

Start/finish at Wyndam-Carseland Provincial Park, park in day use area. Be sure to pop into the Arrowwood store too.

Camping is available at Wyndam-Carseland PP for those that may want to spend the night before or after the ride.

Do not block driveways, access roads when parking. No services, no water, no shade. Be careful of cattle guards, some are dangerous to try and ride.

Often rough but totally rideable on a 43mm+ tire gravel bike, this loop takes you to the Majorville Medicine Wheel, a 5000+ year old sacred stone circle created by the first peoples of the these lands.

It is a sacred place. Do not remove anything from the circle and plan to spend a few minutes connecting with this powerful, ancient place. The short descent to views of the Bow River Valley are worth it.

No services. No shade. No water.

Starting and finishing from the school in Millarville, this mixed surface ride incorporates some of the roads from the WRAAC Gorge Creek Loop. Features lovely views of Ware Ridge and plenty of challenging (and fun) gravel roads mixed with a little bit of pavement.

Ware Ridge is named for the famous black cowboy - John Ware. His legend is large in this area and he was known for being a kind man, incredible horse rider/wrangler, and an amazing Albertan.

Includes a visit into Turner Valley, home to Eau Claire Distillery and the Chuckwagon Cafe.

Excellent multi-surface ride, suitable for gravel bikes. Can be ridden in either direction, we recommend counter-clockwise.

Park at the junction of Maclean Creek Road and Gorge Creek Road.

Gorge Creek Road is closed to vehicles for most of it's length, has no cell service, and bears live there. Be bear aware, be prepared to self-extract in an emergency, and most importantly - slow down and enjoy.

You can turn this into a 2-day/1 night bikepacking adventure by staying at Blue Rock Campground located at the western end of the Sheep Highway.

No services or fresh water - be prepared and be bear aware.

This route heads south from the Crowsnest Pass towards the Castle Wilderness on Lynx Creek Rd then loops back to Blairmore on Adanac Rd. Big climbs and fast descents await. No cell service and no services at all along the way so plan accordingly.

Camping available in Blairmore at the Lost Lemon Campground, there are random camping zones on the southern segment of Lynx Creek Rd, and Lynx Creek Campground is located on Carbondale Rd.

You may want to spend the weekend down here, there is so much riding to be had.

Starting and finishing at the Maycroft Provincial Rec Area this route takes you through historic ranchlands, up into the Porcupine Hills, and back again. Loaded with spectacular views, significant climbing, equal amounts of descending, and potential for big wind, this route is a challenge with big reward..

At the top of East Sharples Road (after the switchbacks) you have a choice to do the loop in either direction.

There are no services and no water so bring extra and be prepared. Enjoy a lunch at the viewpoint POI overlooking the front range of the Rockies. Finish with a dip in the Old Man River and you've done this route right.
